Digital Rebel XT Silver 8.0MP Digital Camera
I rewarded myself with this SLR for having
earned a new job. Well, okay...I also congratulated
myself with a trip to New York. Let's just
say I came back with 120+ brilliant images
of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and
Central Park. |

SAMSUNG
460P-Black 46.0" Plasma Monitor
I'm a serious gamer. When I was looking
for high quality picture for high quality
compy, I refused to buy some wimpy 19"
screen. That's why I forked over the big
bucks for this 46" big boy. This behemoth
is not only the best for gaming, but with
HDTV and S-video, this plasma rocks the
docks when I watch all of my blow em' up
action flicks. And, since this screen does
not come with built-in speakers, it allows
me to utilize my heavy surround sound system.
Nice. |

Radeon X850XT PE EAX850XT/PE/2DHTV/256 Video
Card
This video card is the greatest addition
to my high-tech gaming arsenal. I added
this card to my computer and, in conjunction
with the plasma screen I bought (shown above),
I feel as if I'm a part of a game rather
than just watching it. I've been playing
Doom 3 for about 72 hours straight since
I got this card, it doesn't skip like my
old SAPPHIRE 586L Radeon X300SE. |

RADEON X700 NoteBook
I didn't have the coolest toys as a kid,
but with the Acer Ferrari 4005WLMI, I can
safely say my situation has improved. The
combination of the 128mb ATi X700 and Turion64
ML-37 CPU handles pretty much anything I
throw at it without a hitch. Plus, all that
power is wrapped up in a beautiful chassis.
This really is the Ferrari of notebook computing.

KONICA
MINOLTA X1 (Parts# 2801332) Silver 8.0 MP
Digital Camera
This is the latest addition to my repertoire
of sexy gadgets. They managed to pack in
an 8-mega pixel CCD, 3X optical zoom, 2.5"
LCD, and new anti shake technology into
an ultra compact camera. Is there a downside,
you ask? Well, the shiny casing attracts
fingerprints... and girls... not much of
a downside, I guess. |

Donnie Darko
Presented under the guise of coming-of-age
80s movie, Donnie Darko is a really
a cross-pollination of black comedy, drama,
sci-fi and horror. Jake Gyllenhaal is moody,
borderline-schizophrenic Donnie, a high
school student painfully aware of the world
around him. One evening, Donnie sleepwalks
out of his home and meets a 6-foot-tall
bunny named Frank who forewarns the world
will end in 28 days. Unconventional, uncompromising
and yet, somehow not unbelievable, this
cult phenomenon is for anyone who has ever
felt alone and that nobody else "gets it."

Symantec
Norton Antivirus 2005
Norton AntiVirus and I have had
a longer relationship than any I've had
with women. My lackluster dating career
aside, I have yet to find reason to go behind
Norton's back with other security software,
despite what industry rags rate as their
top choice at the time. In the past three
years I've only had one virus, which was
instantly quarantined and eliminated by
Symantec's award-winning software. With
a symbiotic relationship like this, who
needs females? Sigh. Don't answer
that. |

Co BK-GR BUTTKICKER GAMER
It vibrates. That's really about all it
took for me to try this device, although
I didn't quite understand the concept at
first. However, my friends at ButtKicker
convinced me the Gamer isn't relegated to
the gaming community after they started
blasting some tunes. This thing rocks! It's
a silent sub-woofer that adds furniture-shaking
bass to your home theater for when you're
watching action flicks or bumpin' some hip-hop.
Yes, I said bumpin'. The bottom line: if
you're a gamer, or just someone who likes
to vibrate, check out the ButtKicker BK-GR.
Their slogan is correct: chicks dig
it! |

MEDIA SB-100-100 Slingbox
Traveling is an inherent part of my job.
I find the one thing I miss more than my
man while on the road is ... my TV. Infinite
thanks to the techno geeks at Sling Media
for The Slingbox. Now I can enjoy my home
TV programming whenever, wherever. As long
as there is an Internet connection handy,
you can watch the tube from your office,
hotel and heck, even the bathroom, should
you feel inclined to do so. It is a snap
to setup and functions as a stand-alone
device that will connect directly to a home
network without depending on a dedicated
host PC. Never leave home without it.

APPLE White 2GB nano
"I can't believe that it's so small!" This
observation might make some cringe, but
in the case of the nano, it is a compliment.
The nano is the latest edition to Apple's
growing family of MP3 players, starting
with the original iPod, the mini, shuffle
and now this little guy. For me, it was
love at first site. The svelte size is compact
and easy to shove in your pocket or purse.
I still trip on how far technology has come
when I use my nano because it really is
a handsome device. We live in a great age.

KONICA
MINOLTA 2806301 Silver 6.0 MP Digital Camera
Sometimes what you see isn't what
you get. Fortunately, that is not the case
with Konica Minolta's DiMAGE series digital
camera. The picture quality is vibrant and
lifelike. The comfortable design allows
me to point-and-shoot using one hand, precisely
what I need for when I'm out and about and
want to snap a quick shot. The 12X optical
zoom captures every detail when I'm taking
pictures of friends in compromising situations.
Oh, and the movie quality ... whoa. I took
the camera to my brother's wedding and despite
my world-renown clumsiness, the anti-shake
feature made the results look like I'm a
professional auteur. Watch out, Spielberg!
