LANfest2K5's
featured tournaments and BYOC tournaments will be supported by prize
packages totaling over $70,000 in cash and hardware. Here are prize breakdowns for the 3 featured tournaments:
Only attendees with Tournament and BYOC passes will be allowed to enter the competition.
Only one entry per person will be allowed. Bring only your best case!
All entries must be functional and setup in the BYOC area.
If your case mod entry differs from your BYOC gaming computer, you must set-up your case mod entry next to your gaming computer in the BYOC area.
Judging will be completed by a panel of judges appointed by Newegg.com's marketing team.
Each case will be given a cumulative score based on the following five different categories:
Creativity
Arrangement
Aesthetics
Functionality
"WOW" factor
Each category is worth 20 points each and the maximum point total is 100.
Judging will start at 12:00PM on Sunday, July 31st in the BYOC area.
Winners will be announced at 2:00PM on Sunday, July 31st. Please be present to claim your prize.
NOTE: Newegg.com reserves the right to deny any cases that we deem illegal or inappropriate for LANfest2K5 and its Case Mod Competition.
We'll be having off-the-wall contests throughout the event,
giving you a chance to win some great prizes by crushing your opponents in
something other than PC gaming. Last year's eating contests were a riot; look forward to more of the same at LANfest2K5!
ALL paying registrants (for all ticket types) will be automatically entered into a raffle, with one lucky gamer to go home July 31 with a LANfest2K5 tournament PC in tow. Other raffle prizes to be announced soon.
